Can you use APG vouchers at the self scan and if so how?.
When you have scanned your last item, don't press finish and pay.
On the same screen to the right there is a box which says 'key in the items code'.
Press this and a screen will come up and you key in the long number just above the barcode on the APG voucher you have printed off.
Then enter.
Then another screen will come up, also with a keypad.
Scan the barcode off your actual Asda shopping receipt. Then enter and it should go to how many bags, then how you want to pay.
Should the barcode not scan on the Asda receipt (due to poor quality of print sometimes) you have to key in that long number under the barcode, then enter and it should go to how many bags and how you want to pay.
When you have paid the receipt(s) you have entered should show to the left of the screen, and just press okay.
Izzeyb - thanks for that. I have queued for a manned till.
I suspect you can use one per transaction? If that is the case, buy one item - ideally one that is on offer so increases your chance of getting a APG voucher on your other shop
Hi, just started wombling. Tried to use APG at self service but as a coupon, had to get an assistant as it didn't work. Just seen this thread and wanted to double check that this is the way it works now.

Not so - provided vouchers are used within validity period and monthly limits are not exceeded.
"9. You can use as many Asda Price Guarantee vouchers as you want in a transaction with us ..."

Did it work?
