Notice requirements when FTC has ended.

Hi all,
Looking, hopefully for some quick advice, if my fixed term contract has ended but I'm still working for the employer how much notice can I give as a minimum?
I was hoping since on paper I'm out of contract I could give 2 weeks but was unsure whether me being out of contract really meant anything at all and because I've been in the same place for 6 months on a continuously rolling ftc up-to now soI'd still be required to give 1 month/4 weeks?
If helps just invade it's unclear nothing has been given to be as on offer or to sign to say my contract has been extended past my "end date" which was late Jan.

Whatever your contract says, if it says nothing - 1 week.
You are not out of contract.0 -

Just so I understand then, if for arguments sake my end date on the contract was today, would it of been a breach of contract on my part not to turn up to work tomorrow?.
Does that then not have an effect on the notice required? As from I think understand is that in my current predicament my employer could serve me a week now due being there less than a year but I'd have to serve what ever is stated in my contract even if the same contract states my end date was in this arguments point today?.0 -

If your contract ends, and you decline any further work, then no that would not typically be a breach (but it would depend on the terms and conditions)
HOWEVER if you then continue to work there, the contract terms and conditions apply.
It depends on what the contract says regarding notice for either party.0 -
Read your contract.
