Hi
We’ve had our offer approved by nationwide today should receive the pack to sign Tuesday so the broker said. Me and my fianc! want a joint account now, will it be ok to apply now as we have been approved and waiting signatures or will there still be checks etc to be made?
On that basis maybe not the right group anyone a good bank account to get?
Thanks

I am confused by your post ?
What are you asking0 -
Now our offer has been approved by nationwide (we are waiting for to sign it, it’s in the post) Can I now apply for a bank account with my partner or will opening a new application possibly still affect us?0

no new credit until completion is generally the rule, can the new bank account wait?"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

If you have a nationwide mortgage and want a nationwide joint account then they will not do an additional check. I was offered a joint account when I got my mortgage with them; they made it all very clear. If you have not quite got to that point then that may be why they haven't said anything to you yet? Or maybe they don't do that anymore. Worth asking your nationwide advisor.YNWA
