CEMAP or CF6 + R01?

Options
I have CF1-4 from a few years ago and was looking to either do CF6 + R01 or go the CEMAP route. I have been working in financial services for 10+ years as admin so am now looking to make the change to MA. I'm self-emp so would be studying on my own (which brings its own pressures!).

Any advice as to which route might be a) easier and b) more highly valued would be welcome.

Thanks

What are your long term plans? If you plan to move to full adviser status, then you need to consider the future and the points you get to carry across. i.e. is CF6 and R01 better on the points count than CEMAP. If you need to do R01 anyway, then you may as well do that now.

Do you need to do RO1 if you have CF1? I think you only need CF6 to do mortgages.

    I have RO1 and CF6 personally.

CF1 and CF6 to be Cert CII (MP) which is equivalent to CeMAP (QCF3)

RO1, CF6 and RO7 to be Cert SMP which is the Diploma level qualification (QCF4)

Thank you. I'm not particularly keen to go down the full adviser route as I don't see it as my longer term goal.

It looks like you will only need CF6.
