There are some drawbacks from standing at fairs and fetes, It is advisable to check whether they have insurance.
I once stood at one event where the tent collapsed injuring a stallholder, and be aware of any claims that could be made by the general public.0 -
Can anyone tell me what you mean by a good show. What would you expect to make? I sell chocolates and in June and July averaged between £200 and £400 making about 25%. I know that most chocolates are sold on the run up to Christmas so would hope to sell a lot more then.0

A word of advice I would like to give...I make my own jewellery and have grown disillusioned with 'craft' fairs where a multitude of people are selling bought in items. That's all well and good at a gift fair, but if you do decide to sell bought in goods, please, please don't try to do it at craft fairs aimed at those who pour their blood, sweat and tears into their creations.
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0
