    27/28 please Baileys

Is it wrong that I'm excited to smell the success on this challenge? :D

I don't think I'm going to go for the 100 days straight though. Allowing myself a little break from time to time is perfectly healthy. But the midweek drinking is gone. Drinking every weekend - that's gone too.

By tomorrow I'll be 31 days off the drink. I'm happy with that :)
You can have results or excuses, but not both.

Absolutely not you have done so well and changed some habits into the bargain by the sound of it :) Not everyone wants to stop permanently but giving your body a prolonged time off has to be a good thing. For me, giving myself a few days where I am OK about having a drink is the way ahead. Well done on 27 and tomorrow will be a day to feel very proud :)

Morning all and it's 21/21 for me today, a relief to reach target after Feb got off to such a slow start :)

That's what matters most to me, being comfortable with your choice. Some choose giving up, some choose cutting down to a greater or lesser extent. It's an individual choice.:)

That's my view too. I can't recall the name but we had a poster on here a few months back who didn't want to give up but felt she'd failed every time she had a drink which caused a lot of unhappiness. For me planned drinking days are the answer. What I don't like is 's*d it' days when I lose control and have a drink when I planned to be AF. Fortunately not had one of those for a long while.:D

Just out of interest (well, nosiness really:o), when cutters-down set their monthly targets do they know which days they plan to drink?

I had a pub meal with friends last night. I had a single G&T, enjoyed it then stopped.:)

    No plans to drink today.

    15/10 AFDs please Baileys.

Totally agree maman I dont see this thread as a competition amongst each other only against ourselves :) One thing I do know though I would not have achieved anything like what I have without this thread :)
