Thanks everyone, cant believe I actually managed it tbh! Might do something similar at the start of next year but will do it for charity. Should've done it for charity this time around but I don't think I had enough faith in myself.
Birthday celebrations didn't go to plan as Mrs fatrab isn't well, so I'm currently ahead of schedule on

2/31 TAFDs (take-away free days)
Assuming Mrs is ok by Saturday we'll be out this weekend instead so I'll drop a day on Saturday but no other plans to drink this month.

Healing vibes for Mrs FatRab. Interesting that you didn't have enough faith in yourself to say you were doing it for charity, but in the end found it much easier than you thought you would. There's something worth pondering on in that, isn't there?
I LOVE your idea of TAFD days and while you're doing that, I'm doing Sugar Free Days if I may. I find it very difficult to have little or no added sugar and my absolute is chocolate and ginger flavoured biscuits. I now have a stomach that .... I can't say the words, I really can't, and it's all down to sugar. So, I'm going to see if I can at least keep up with you - the most I've managed this year is seven consecutive days, ie a week, and one or two other days. That's it. I need this because I clearly can't do this on my own.

Ta Da! Purely down to you, FatRab, posting about TAFDs yesterday I managed a Sugar Free Day! Yay! 1 down, quite a lot to go. I weighed and measured myself this morning as well, so I have a baseline. I know exactly what I'm aiming for weights and measures-wise, too. 1 of A Lot - I think I'm going for 100 and I'll see if that gets me where I want to be.
