Remortgage - Lender request for cladding report

I'm in the process of remortgaging my flat and the proposed new lender has requested a report to confirm the external cladding of the building meets fire safety regulations (in light of the Grenfell tragedy).

I have contacted the management company for our building to see if this inspection has already been carried out and a report generated, but in the meantime I wondered if anyone here has had a similar experience or can provide any advice.

In the event that a satisfactory report does not already exist, can anyone offer any advice as to how I should proceed? I've tried to do some research online, but haven't been able to find any direction on how I could contact a suitable contractor to inspect the building and produce a report.

Below is the specific request from the lender:

"The Property is externally clad and is subject to a report from a Fire Safety Officer or Structural Engineer with appropriate fire prevention experience. We advise they (the applicant) find a PCA (Property Care Association) qualified contractor to inspect the property, as this is a recognised trade body of good repute. We ultimately need the report to confirm the cladding on the property meets current safety requirements in light of the Grenfell tragedy in 2017 before we can consider lending on it."

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Chris
