Hi
I'm wondering if capital gains counts towards income when applying for a mortgage.
On my SA302 it has my total income from my work but the figure doesn't include what I earnt from capital gains.

Capital gains tax is a tax you pay when you sell a property.
You can if you wish pay some of the debt down ( if allowed )0 -
If you mean from investments then the answer is no. Just because you have made gains in the past does not mean you are going to make them in future years.0
