Two incomes but one is self-employed?

Options
Hi,

My husband has recently become a contractor, initially on a 6 month contract for £500 a day but with a definite possibility of extension. I earn approx £40k a year.

Would we be able to get a mortgage circa £500k (with a £100k deposit)? Or do we need to wait 2 years for my husband to get audited accounts?

Any advice gratefully received before I spend more time on rightmove!!

Thanks,

Alex

Possibly. Speak to an independent broker, before Rightmove!

Some lenders will lend based on daily rate. His previous work history/CV will come into play.
