Digital Photo Frame To Buy For Mum' Birthday

Hi everyone
Can anyone help. I ordered a 7' digital photo frame from empire stores recently using one of the discount codes to bring it down to a more affordable buy for my mum' birthday. After waiting on the order received the shirt I had purchased from Empire to make up the order to minimum spend and no digital frame:eek: . Apparantly they no longer had this item in stock so on invoice informed me they would not be sending me the frame. Have sent letter stating how very displeased I was with this service (or words to that affect). Anyhow had mentioned to Mum that I had purchased this and she seemed delighted (she always commented on how good the family pictures looked on our computer (also mentioned that it was always on-I'm always on here, coupons sites or survey/mystery shopping sites). I really don't want to disappoint now. Have seen 7' digital photo frames for £50 which I would pay, after all it is my mum but also concerned paying this much as in all likelyhood it will sit in its box as she will be terrified of breaking it. Obviously this will prove less annoying if it is cheaper but I really feel that once the fear has gone this will be a valued present.
Any one got any ideas of a good quality 7' digital frame for £50 or less, even if that is with some kind of voucher. Would really appreciate any ideas please. Her birthday is this weekend but I have told her they is a problem with delivery due to the postal strike (I know I'll never go to heaven lying like this). Thanks for any help.

Thanks rammy007.
Had looked at argos but they seemed to added some additional price reductions this morning so thanks for the suggestion. They had a choice of two for £39 so now have to decide which would be a better buy. Probably will buy one of these with a additional item to get the gift card at the moment. Any other offers out there while I'm still undecided?0 -
I've got this one in my favourites for my in-laws this Christmas. Hope it helps

Thank You Zoebeth. I Am Slightly Gutted, Went And Got Frame At Argos Yesterday With Sd Card Cost Us Under £50 And Have Seen Your Post When I Came Home. Good Site However. I Shall Look Further To See If Any Other Pressies Sorted. The Deal Of The Day Was A Free Sd Card With The Frame Under £40.
Thanks For Posting Anyhow, I'm Someone Will Find It Useful. The Positive Side Is That Mum Was Thrilled With Her Pressie Anyway. It's All Set Up Round Hers So At Least It Not Sitting In The Box Never To Be Seen Again. (this Does Happen).0 -

This site seems a bit dodgy to me! As soon as you buy something you are subscribing to this site - this is free for 30 days but then you will be charged 19.95 per month until you cancel Could still be ok if you are on the ball with cancelling, but a bit of an underhand way of getting money from you. Don't think I'll bother ordering from here.

The ASDA one is 7" and only £39.00. However, it only takes a very limited number of memory card types (Secure Digital, MultiMedia Card and Sony Memory Stick?), but a lot of frames are like this. Copying the picture files onto a suitable card isn't rocket science, though. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
