Do buyers inform when they are 'happy' with surveys?

We haven't heard anything from our buyers about the survey results. We have chased the estate agents who say they haven't heard anything. Just wondering if no news is good news?
What do buyers on here usually do? Only contact the estate agent if you intend to pull out or want a price reduction?

Buyers are as diverse as the general populace and can and will do any variety of things.
No news is usually somewhere between neutral to bad news when it comes to house purchases.
Get your EA to chase up just to determine what their general situation is regards moving forward with the process.
Don't get them to ask what the survey said as that could make it sound as if there's something wrong and you want to know if the survey spotted it !0 -
Have you buyers received a mortgage offer yet?0

Well I hope that 'no news' is neutral in this case! I made sure to not ask if there was anything they found in the survey, just if they were happy with it and still ok to proceed. The survey was done last Friday (19th) and the surveyor said it would go out early this week, so I'm assuming they have received it.
The survey the buyers have had done is at the banks request, so whether they receive an offer will depend on the survey/valuation results.marlasinger0 -

In that case a week is probably not long enough, the surveyor has to do his report, that has to go back into the mortgage co, then to the buyers and also in teh meantime somewhere internally in the mortgage co to make sure the valuation meets the price they are paying and then they can confirm the mortgage.
That must be a 2 week process at least.0 -
Ah ok, I didn't realise it would take so long. The surveyor had said he would write it up over the weekend and issue it on Monday/Tuesday, so I assumed it would all be done by the end of the week.marlasinger0

A Surveyor came to ours last Tuesday, he said that the mortgage company would have his report that night as it was all done on his tablet as he went around.0
