I bought 'Santa is Coming to St. Helens' a couple of years back, for my son who has Down's Syndrome. He loves it. It mentions our neighbourhood, with the reindeer flying over us. It's a lovely story, and well worth buying.

its because of the word thats in between the S and the horpe if you know what I mean. There is no way around that because that word definitely needs to be banned on here.

I appreciate that, Sarah, but it’s just a matter of altering the software. The very same deal also appears on HUKD but with the word Scun and thorpe unaltered.

That same town also appears in its unexpurgated form all over the internet.

Just an MSE issue really. Can’t somebody tweak the software?

Apparently not, I asked if the word rape could be swear filtered as a lot of spammers recently were using it in their user names and was told that it couldn't be because any word that had any part of rape in it would be filtered so its the same for scun thorpe I am afraid.
