Halifax arrears fees refund

I received a letter from the Halifax last year re my mortgage, which is now paid off, saying they were refunding 'some' of the arrears fees charged between 2009 and 2016 when I was struggling to pay my mortgage, and I duly received a cheque. I've had another letter today saying I may be entitled to another payment re additional costs incurred and any stress or inconvenience suffered. Where to begin....
I can possibly check any bank charges over the 7 years in question. But I have no record of the hours spent on the phone begging for a humane response to my predicament (an interest only mortgage until I was back on my feet, for example). And I find it hard to put a price on the stress every time their response was just to whack another £100 onto my mortgage.
I'm also confused as to why the letter says 'some' of the arrears fees have been refunded and an article on this site says 'all' will be refunded.

The group has agreed to refund:
All fees charged to customers for arrears management between 1 January 2009 and January 2016
All fees for broken payment arrangements (where someone failed to keep up with their repayment plan) between 1 January 2009 and January 2016
Any unfair legal costs that were applied during this period
Compensation for distress and inconvenience
Consequential losses such as any extra bank charges as a result of not being able to keep up with the repayments
Any interest if applicable"
Has anyone else dealt with the Halifax over this? Any advice?

Halifax will send you a cheque based on a criteria agreed with the regulators. The onus won't be on individuals to submit claims.0

Actually, you're wrong about that, as I stated in my post! They do give a refund, but they then offer customers the opportunity to submit a claim for additional costs.0

I!!!8217;ve just received a refund letter from Lloyds today and it states clearly in bold font !!!8216;you could be entitled to claim for any additional costs you may have incurred!!!8217;. I have a dated doctors letter as the whole mortgage situation had made me very anxious and stressed but otherwise I can!!!8217;t remember any particular dates regarding phone calls, but it does state in the small print !!!8216;in most cases, no, you will not be required to provide evidence of additional costs or to support a claim under Distress and Inconvenience!!!8217;.0
