Nice'n Easy hair permanent hair dye (Boots)

Today noticed there was a limited range of colours in local Boots which seemed cheapish.
Bought a couple and just looked at bill- £1.59 each!- that's 81 pence cheaper than displayed on price ticket. Bargain
Nice'n Easy now comes in slightly differently shaped packaging so I assume they are selling off the older stock.
Worth a look in your local Boots

Just looked online and some are showing at £2.40- some with the message -stock coming soon

I collected 10 I ordered online at £2.40 each today and immediately returned them and repurchased at £1.59 each. The felt a right nuisance but the sales lady seemed fine about it lol.

Darn it!

I ordered some last week from Superdrug and paid £6 for two, which I thought was a good price.

Is this offer only for the permanent ones? I always buy the semi-permanent 24 washes type.

Just cleared the shelves of my colour in the local chemists.. only 3 left there but I'll keep a look out. Melbury I could only see the permanent ones.

Looks like permanent only. (Boots current deal on non-p. is 2 for £7 on selected shades.)
The packaging has changed on the permanent ones (well,maybe the formula too??) the boxes are now hexagonal.

Thanks for this, picked some up at local branch. Some shelf labels £2.40 whilst others still £5.99 but all shades were reduced.

Checking various other stores only Superdrug had the new packaging stock however no other stores had reduced the old packaging ones yet!

I wanted to stock up for Mum and myself as we both use Nice n Easy and like this formula.

The sales assistant in my Boots would not let me buy more than 6. I queried with her so she went to check with the manager who agreed that I could only buy 6! :eek:

Welcome to my world - it's like a mantra in my local stores. I take my husband with me so that we can buy more than 6. There is a post further up this thread where someone bought 10 online. Not sure how that happened as I've been told that online purchases will be scrutinised and maximum will be 6.
I despair with Boots - do they want money in the till or not?

Possibly not when the likes of Tesco are selling them at full whack! Checked today and they are the old boxes........

Still lots of shades about, don't be put off if the shelf says £5.99 or £2.40 as my store does, they scan at £1.59.:money:
