  • Multiple submission certain studies (IYKYK), how many does it actually allow you to do in a row?

I think the most I’ve done is three before my head exploded, but there were others still there if I’d wanted to carry on.
They were hanging around longer than than they are now though.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Yeah I think 3 is my limit too! Time to do something else to relax

I'm doing an image one and some of the text is so far up its own arris that it must be generating its own pretentiousness as well.

I think the researcher sets a limit because sometimes I’ve only done a few before I can’t do more and other times I’ve done loads. I had once last week and did 25 submissions (it wasn’t an hour!)

I think it is 3 and then that one disappears so there aren't unlimited multiple submissions.  That's the most I've managed (it's been more obvious recently with the ones with over a thousand places that don't just disappear when all the places have gone).
  • I'm seeing a lot of attention checks recently that go against Prolific's guidelines, either by presenting the required response on the previous page, rather than the page on which the question is asked ("They cannot rely on memory recall"), or by presenting a question which has a genuine true response without referring to the attention check information previously given ("They should check whether a participant has paid attention to the question, not so much to the instructions above it"), or often both. I guess a lot of researchers just don't bother reading the guidelines.

    Problem-solving study

    By unil.ch
    £3.00 • £7.52/hr
    23 mins
    0 places
    Limited capacity

Anyone do this? It took me 44 minutes, which is underpaid even with the £1 bonus. Other participants were involved, so there was no way I could have finished it quicker as I had to wait for them.

I've think I've managed 5 of the same AI fact check ones before. I do try and spread them out a bit though if there are lots up on the site. The most I've ever managed in a day was seven and it was a slog.

I've just finished the third and the study has  vanished but is now showing again after a few minutes. Number 4 about to do.
