£2.52 per hour - very poor.
I thought they weren't allowed to do that?
No, they are not. I made a complaint but doubt that anything will come of it.

    CRUSH study session 1

That's 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back!  RSI comes to mind.  Now I know how Tinder works - rather than swipe left/right it was up/down.  Guess I'll have to suffer more pain in order to complete session 2 and get my £12.00 - off to drown my sorrows in a glass of wine.
P.S. I never realised how similar bottles of Pellegrino are to bottles of Peroni.. when viewed on a 5 inch screen at font 6!  Every day is a school day.

  • Anyone know how I can retrieve my Prolific ID when the site says "your Prolific ID is being recorded automatically for this study so you may not be asked to enter it" but then the study asks for it anyway? Going to have to put it on a sticky note in future because this has happened to me twice in a few days now.

Just go back to the tab where you opened the study and your id code will be there to copy and paste

Unfortunately the text I quoted is in the place where my Prolific ID is usually found, and it won't let me go into my profile to look for it in there because I've started a study off. Don't know why they do this!

I ended up leaving a message in the field asking for the prolific ID and then when the study was completed I sent the researcher a message with my ID. Fingers crossed I get the money still.
I've saved my ID in a txt document on my desktop so that hopefully won't happen again...
