I'll say it first: Filth!:D
Oo! That smartypants thingies one has just been approved... And after I dissed them. I read your comments, mikep and realise inventing the dashed things must have taken brains of boffin-like magnitude; it just all seems to take away our autonomy to me.
What are the next generation going to do when Alexa throws a sickie? I may be a dyed-in-the-wool Luddite but value what little independence I have left. I know I was dismayed a few weeks ago when my dishwasher became an ex-dishwasher but at least I can still remember how to wash dishes by hand. I can see this becoming something only Ruth Goodwin does on BBC2 one day.0 -

Annoying since I leapt out of bed to go to my laptop0 -

I suspect the majority of us know how to wash dishes by hand, and those that dont couldnt work smart objects anyway....
If you have an opportunity to make life easier then take it, I say. It has always happened from generation to generation so why this one is being picked out is a little odd. The previous one had the car, washing machine, dishwasher etc - but yet ours is the lazy one..Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890
