Thanks mike - I've gone off Circle and back to the arms of Paypal! The last couple of surveys I did were paid this morning so I've cashed out and hopefully I'll get the money tomorrow.
Circle had a bad week last week - but I did look back on the number of previous transactions which have gone through OK and I will give them a further chance. 2.5% (or whatever it is) with PayPal does add up over time.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

I wasn't that keen on them in the first place, and I like having money in my Paypal account that I can sometimes stash away for occasional purchases on sites that accept it! I'll just have to accept the fees as a small downside!0

But the issue is getting it from Prolific into PayPal, for which they charge - I am not sure whether it is only for transactions under £20 these days.
I use PayPal for pretty much all of my other transactions where possible - the only exception is I-say, where I can get tesco vouchers, Populous who send f*cking cheques in 2018, and YouGov who do bank transfers...Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

Ah yeah, PP cashouts of any value are 2.9% + 20p (I wait until I've got at least £20.80ish so I end up with ~£20). I can live with paying ~80p to get cash.
Same with Swagbucks, I cash out via PayPal which is quite a bit more expensive than say Amazon vouchers, but cash ftw!

So do Prolific charge a fee on payouts over £20 with PayPal? I'd like to avoid the fees I have been paying as it's like losing a reward for a survey each time I cash out at the moment on smaller amounts
I've just signed up to Circle, but looking at the reviews in Google Play they have a lot of unhappy customers losing their money...0 -

Read the post above.
I have used Circle many times, and yes they were slow processing last week - but I have about 20 previous cashouts with no issue, so for the time being I will continue to use them. I have no doubt PayPal have had their own bodge ups in the past too....Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

So if you cash out once a month, losing 80p - over the course of the year you will lose £9.60. That is around 38 packets of noodles!:eek::rotfl:Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890
