'Spend & Fly' Flybe MasterCard

Just found this today which might be of use in January if anyone is planning to spend. Do you put your Company expenses on your own credit card ;-)
Cheers Snigbob

Low cost carrier seals one of the UKs largest ever airline credit card deal.
Flybe has signed a multi million pound deal with LaSer UK that will see the launch of its brand new 'Spend & Fly' Flybe MasterCard in January 2008.
The long term contract seals Flybe's partnership with LaSer UK (formerly Creation Financial Services).
After signing for the Flybe MasterCard, members will - upon their first transaction - automatically receive one free return flight anywhere on the Flybe network. The credit card programme will be integrated with Flybe's rewards4All frequent flyer scheme and reward users for ongoing spending on the card.
For every £250 accrued on the Flybe MasterCard, members will receive one point and once 16 points have been collected, members will receive further free return flights. This equates to a free flight for every £4,000 spent, providing an even faster point accelerator for rewards4all members!

  • sounds good... only if they don't cancel the flights.

I also hope they don't run into the same problems as BMI baby did by not having enough free seats for people to use

  • Just received an email from Flybe about this - seems you can also accrue points through normal high street spending, but no details given. The free flight is airfare only, still have to pay tax, surcharges, baggage etc, but looks like a good deal anyway as no minimum spend for the first transaction. Worth looking into?
