Whilst I see this as a good idea to compile a list surely it is going to be too difficult to keep updated with the thousands of products sols across all the supermarkets.

Presumably Asda is currently selling these flakes at 66p more than one of the other supermarkets, you don't say which one,but the price could easily change so your information and that of others could be quickly out of date and therefore unreliable.

I am also under the impression that you cannot mix deals across supermarkets so again its going to be very difficult to work out which shop each product is targeted against to gain an price guarantee

It is also worth remembering that in order to qualify for the price guarantee you need 8 items in your basket so flakes and 7 others which the cost of those additional items will potentially negate the cost against the APG received.

I don't know about superfast but Aldi sell perfectly good Mornflake Oats at 75p per kg.

A heads up for a good deal in Asda is fine but compiling a list won't work. Prices change too often for that.

I don't think your list will work I am afraid, there are thousands of products across all the supermarkets to compare each day.

You have to have a minimum 8 comparable items in your basket not to include some own brands to be able to get the price guarantee so you have to take that into account when you are listing one item thats cheaper.

You have to stick to one shop for the price guarantee, you cannot mix and match the shops. Its compared to each shop individually so its almost impossible to work out which shop each product is compared against to get a successful price guarantee,

That's right. But it's really not that difficult. :)
