Recommendations for brokers - adverse credit

Hi,
My other half and I have found a house we like, have 5‰ deposit and affordability isn’t an issue. However, whilst my credit is relatively clean my other half has 2 defaults. One is over 3 years old and one will be 3 years old in a couple of weeks.
Does anyone have experience of actually getting a mortgage with these issues? And can anyone recommend a broker that deals with defaults? Any we have spoken to have said they don’t or charge through the roof. We’re based in Buckinghamshire.
Many thanks in advance

What you're asking to do is by no means straight forward as from a lenders point of view you're not bringing much to the table i.e small deposit and credit issues.
A 5% deposit isn't completely out of the question however you most certainly will need a decent broker and I would expect their fee to match their capability.I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Broker, so you need to take my word for it.
