Self Employed Mortgages - Accountant

Options
Hi, firstly I've done a forum search for this subject but no clear posts came up in the results so I'm asking here.

I've been self employed for a couple of years and always submitted my own tax returns.

To be worthy for a mortgage will it be essential that the banks see tax returns submitted by an accountant?

If so, can I get an accountant to go over the previous tax return/s and confirm the figures or is it too late for these tax years turnovers due to myself submitting them?

Regards

    No. It won't.

You can produce your own Tax Calculations and Tax Year Overviews from HMRC SA Online.
