Coventry BS - Employers Reference - Anyone had one and how long it takes?

I started my remortgage application with the Coventry BS two weeks ago through a broker with an AIP received beforehand. I have only been in my new job for 2 months prior but my affordability is more than adequate to cover what I'm borrowing. The Coventry have only now asked for an employers reference despite me supplying my employment contract and 2 months of payslips from the start. Anybody been through this before and how long it can take?

Ask your employers.
Once Coventry get it back it will take around 24-48 hours according to their service standards - https://www.coventrybuildingsociety.co.uk/intermediaries/manage-cases/service-levelsI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I'm told Coventry will go direct to my employers so there's not much I can do to push it along.0

Your broker can establish from the lender how and when the request is being issued.
Your broker can establish from you who will deal with the request.
Your broker can contact that person and establish when the request arrives with your employer, when it will be dealt with and when it's been sent back.
Your broker can establish when the reference arrives with the lender and when it will be dealt with.
This is what we do, day in, day out. There is very little chance anyone here can speculate accurately on how long this might take but I would expect your broker to be able to put his finger on exactly where in the process it is...I am a mortgage broker.
