Wine rack but don't drink

Hi, I know you lot are inventive, so I'm hoping someone can come up with an idea for the wine rack in my kitchen.
We've recently moved and the kitchen has an inbuilt wine rack similar to this (but obviously not as grand - previous owner was a chef)

Up to now it has been stuffed with old plastic bags but I want to try and make it look more attractive. Other ideas i've seen on the internet are good, but don't suit our needs - we don't drink (wine, squash or pop) and we don't get a newspaper.
So any suggestions OS'ers?
Thanks

If it is the style of that one in the photo (lattice between cupboards) and you will never use it, I would cut it out and use it as a 'cupboard' space or whatever.
If you need to keep it, a non-pretty use might be your rolls of kitchen roll/foil/clingfilm etc.
A pretty option - a string of fairy lights? All the makeover shows seem to wind them around headboards etc, so why not in a kitchen...
Alternatively, give it to me because I would love one! :rotfl:

Hi there
If you can get hold of any of those tubes that whisky etc come in - they are great for storing pasta and odds n sods..they would go in there and free up cupboard/drawer space
or roll up your teatowels and put them in... can't see them staying there long enough to get dusty-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Bottles of oil and/or vinegar ... depends on what you have. I have several different kinds of each .... olive oil, hazlenut oil, groundnut oil .... white wine vinegar, red wine vinegar, cider vinegar, raspberry vinegar, balsamic vinegar, hazlenut vinegar ... there you go. That's filled it upWarning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0

What great ideas! When my friend moved to Spain I had her lovely solid wood wine rack even though I never get the chance to have a drink now
It sits in my kitchen with a couple of bottles of flavoured water in it while my cupboards are filled with vinegars etc and everytime I reach up on the cupboard for my greaseproof paper it falls on my head..Will be using these ideas ASAP !! Thanks :T0
