40th birthday help!

Hi, I'm struggling for ideas for my husband's 40th.I have a gift so I need ideas for what to do on the day.
He doesn't want a party. We have 10 year old twins and no nearby babysitter so a night in a hotel or even a night out in town isn't an option. He doesn't have any hobbies or interests except his PlayStation. All I can think to do is a family (Him,me and the kids ) meal out then back home but we do that once a month anyway so it's not really special. I just want to make his birthday special and somehow mark the occasion even though he doesn't want a fuss.
Any ideas massively appreciated.
