NATWEST Morgage in Principle VIA Broker

Options
Hello, bit confused.

My broker tried for an agreement in principle, it took about 3 days, he just phoned and said they need to submit a full application and Natwest need my card to take £1 out.

thinking about this now, I am confused, should I not have had an agreement in principle first. Broker said they were told to submit an app...

also I thought Natwest took valuation fees when app is started, any ideas what the £1 is for

Have you not been in the UK very long?

The £1 is just an ID check. They refund the £1.
