Burn marks on unit top?

Hi,
Anyone know of a way to get rid of a burn ring on kitchen unit top? Phone rang and boiling pan placed down in a hurry! :-/ Have tried jif and bleach.

Sorry I meant laminate , which it obviously is................you can try rubbing it with brasso if it's light but if it's deep then I'm afraid you have to replace it ....................or cover it :-/
For instance if it's bad you could make or buy a tile pot stand..................leave it over the stain and no-one will be any rthe wiser AND you won't put a pan down on the surface except on the stand..............sorry I can't make it any better news
