I have no idea about the tuition fees - I get a loan from Student Loans to pay this. Have a good hunt around and see if you have anything to sell!
Keep posting on here - there are a lot of people here who will offer support and advice to you, and it'll keep you on the straight and narrow as well ;) and, go to www.spendingdiary.com to start your spending diary for free online, nothing like the present huh? ;)

Do your college/university have a student finance office which will be able to help advise you, they may help you get a grant or emergency loan
    .

The other alternatives are ebaying unnecessaries, entering lots of competitions, doing odd jobs such as babysitting, or other ways to earn some extra cash.
  • hi, just wondered if there was anyone else that had any thoughts?

    Hey,
As your a student hsbc offer interest free overdrafts BUT the plan is not to get into any more debt! As an art student could you not make cards/xmas cards/b-day cards to sell in the shop? (I did media but I cant act/make a tv programme!) You could sell them on e-bay and do personalised ones and it would look good as a project basis for your course?
Sorry I cant think of anything else right now!
