VDU versus Driving spectacles

So I went for an eyetest at specsavers as I use a VDU at work.

I was told my VDU prescription needed updating and had a free voucher so have ordered the new VDU glasses. I do not have a copy of the prescription for the VDU glasses

I was also told I needed glasses for driving and was given a prescription for driving glasses.

Do you know if the prescription for the driving glasses would differ from a VDU prescription?

Yes, the 'driving' glasses will be for focusing at a further distance away than the glasses for using a VDU

Please do not try to drive in your vdu specific glasses, you will be putting lives at risk!
