Downshift Challenge: Alcohol-free mouthwash

If you're buying alcohol-free mouthwash, is there any point paying far more for branded products rather than supermarket own brands?
It seems to me that they all have the same sodium fluoride content (0.05% or 225 ppm F). The other ingredients are marginally different but does this matter at all? :money:

The only mouthwash that has any clinical benefit should be prescribed by your dentist and for short term use only.
Most mouthwashes are classed as cosmetics because there is no clinical benefit at all.
Indeed the ingredients in mouthwash and toothpaste interact so if you use a mouthwash within two hours of using toothpaste you are rinsing away the fluoride from the toothpaste and stopping the mouthwash doing anything.
Instead just use a fluoride containing toothpaste and spit don’t rinse. Save your money and don’t use mouthwash routinely.0
