Share house with daughter

Hi,
My husband and I have a house worth approx £500k, with a current mortgage of £93k. We want to build a large extension so we can live in it and our daughter and her family will live in the main house. The main reasons being helping her live in the village, plus I have health issues and it would really help for her to live close.
As she is an only child, she will get the house of our death.
Is there any way that her & her partner can buy part of the house and, therefore, take on a mortgage to cover the costs of the extension, which will be £100k?
My husband is 58 and any re-mortgage we get will be limited to age 75 (already confirmed). If our daughter and partner get a mortgage, they could get one for a much longer term.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
