Mortgage accepted, can i apply for credit now?

Hi guys and girls,

So basically ive had my mortgage application accepted by santander, at the conveyancing stage as we speak, should i wait until its completed still before i apply for credit anywhere or can i apply now without it hurting me?

Don't apply for anything until after completion.

I imagine you'd be a bit miffed if the offer gets withdrawn after a final credit check.

The offer could be withdrawn even, after exchange but before completion, let alone after mere acceptance. Don’t do anything until you complete, eg are in your new home and it might be paranoid but I’ve even seen advice to wait until first mortgage payment has gone out.
