Builder who would work in Bangor /North Down

Options
Hi

You guys came up trumps last time so hope you don't mind if I pick your collective brains again.

As I see the Builder threads haven't had much activity in almost 5 years I am seeking personal recommendations for a Builder in North Down/Bangor or wider afield if they'll travel to Bangor.

Moved into almost 50 year old house in November and much renovation and modernisation required.

Thanks

    Hi Ballyblack

Lots of work from bathroom modernisation (to wet room), to removing a fireplace, to decking and garden modernisation, to work on a garage, wooden floors etc.
  • We had our garage converted into a home office with an ensuite last year by Seymour Construction NI. The garage is not attached to the house and every other builder we had out listed all the problems and seemed to suggest they couldn't guarantee how well it would turn out. Gary came and seemed to know exactly what needed done. The project was hassle free for us, he finished on time and we love the new room. Anyone who has been in it says that they feel as though they are in a house...in no way does it feel like an old damp garage conversion. As I'm currently expecting twins I think hubby will be spending a lot of time out there in the later part of this year for some peace!!!

    Thanks Alwaysworking.

Any other recommendations please before I compile my shortlist and begin phoning round?

Any handymen who might be able to assist as well please.
