Joint Mortgage with one party post DMP

I'm 18 months post DMP with 'youngest' default 4 years old. My husband has a perfect credit score and history (my debts are from before we met & we have no financial association).
We currently rent and want to buy our own home. Will our combined history make it difficult to get a mortgage i.e. will high street lenders reject us?

It will depend on how everything appears on your credit report and the finer details. If everything is 4 years old you should have options.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Definitely one for a broker. Get all your credit reports in a row and present them to a good broker who knows what they are looking for and what they are doing.I am a Mortgage Broker.

Being married creates an association. What yours is their's and what their's is yours.0
