Kensington Morgage Help Please

My partner and I had an AIP From RBS but due to me moving jobs they couldnt put the application through due to not having 3 months payslips. So a broker advised us to go with kensington and put the application in . I have 2 defaults both settled from 2 years ago and owe no money to any creditors. no missed payments in last 2 years. We have put an offer in on £102,000 with a 10% deposit. my partner has a perfect history whereas i have 2 defaults on being a mobile phone currently with lowell and the other being an old revolving account. what are our chances of being accepted as we have had it all packaged and paid the fee we passed the initial credit check allegedly with the packagers and the full applicaton has gone in we earn combined just over 30k. Any help is appreciated

How big a gap was there between leaving one job and starting a new job? If 2 weeks or less, the change in job should not be a problem for RBS as far as I am aware.

  • 3 months i have been there but due to pro rata didnt have the 3rd month wageslip which they allegedly needed. problem is i went from being a joiner for 6 years to handing notice in due to securing a new trainee surveyor role but was told not to work notice so i did agency for 3 weeks waiting for the start date! this was over 2 umbrella companies so on paper looks as though i had 3 jobs in 4 weeks. basically i would have been better off not working and sitting on my back side
