Slimmers' meal replacement 'biscuits'

Sorry if this query is in the wrong place:o. I'm asking for a friend (honest;)) and she isn't too worried about saving money on the products although it would be a bonus:j. She just wants to find out if they exist and where she might be able to buy them or something very similar.

Does anyone remember a product called Limmits from around the 1970s? They were meal replacement biscuits, according to my friend, like biscuits or crackers sandwiched together with a filling. They made them in sweet and savoury variants.

She has tried the meal bars produced by such as Slimfast and doesn't get on with them at all, either because of the flavours or texture of them:(.

Thanks:T

Any advice gratefully received and I'll pass it on to my friend asap.

I remember Limmits, not that I needed to lose weight in those days. I assume they didn’t work, hence they’re no longer made.

Eating biscuits instead of a proper diet might be a shortcut, but it’s unlikely to foster healthy eating.

I remember Limmits, they were hugely popular among some of my school mates, who used to bring them in for lunch, along with cottage cheese on Ryvitas and grapefruit halves, none of which ever made anyone lose weight.

Does anyone remember the unfortunately-named slimming chocolates called “Ayds”?

I remember the toffee ones. They were disgusting.
