I have a mortgage that ends in 5 yrs and 9 months. I am looking to fix it until the end of term cheaper than the Nationwide 2.5% SVR. Any thoughts?

You need to look at the rates you can get and how much you can pay.
The contractual term is not that relevant if you can shorten the real term with your payment.0
