6gb Ipod mini for £125.73 from boots

Just been to Boots and bought a 6gb mini ipod for an effective £125.73

Here's the deal-

online price £169.99
less 10% code from hotukdeals.com £16.99
less cashback from Quidco.co.uk (4.5%) £6.89
less 2039 triple advantage points £20.39

= effective price of £125.73

I calculated the cashback on the reduced price of £153 but it may actually be calculated on the full price of £169.99 so it could work out 76p cheaper.

The triple points are worth an extra £13.45 on this product which makes it such a good deal. Get in there whilst the triple points promotion is on !

Do you think it would be worth spending the extra £10 and getting the Creative Zen 20gb mp3 player rather than this deal?

Just so no-one else wastes their time PM-ing, this person just wants to refer you to rpoints, which is fairly pointless relating to the above offer, as quidco offer a higher percentage cashback.

I bought one for 152.99 + 2.2% Greasypalm cashback and 2039 points=£20.39. I did get greedy and manage to get an extra 1000 points but when I did it through Greasypalm it was either points or 10%off but both codes wouldnt work.

    Hi Shrek,

Same here, i tried and it wouldn't accept both. That's why i mentioned to use the 10% off code as it's worth more and is an immediate money off. If you buy other products cheaper than £100 then the 1,000 points is better value.

BTW, i'd ditch GreasyPalm as Quidco offer around double the amount of cashback as any of the other sites.

    regards

    Hi BB,

I bought the Ipod for my son and he insisted it had to be an Ipod (street cred and all that).

I assume if he gets tired of it then the ipod probably has a better resale value(being market leader). However, if you have 1,000's of songs to load onto it then the 20Gb is going to be better for you.

Apart from that i couldn't really say as i've never used either in the past.

Sorry, probably not much help to you.
