10% new build mortgage

Hi,

Does anyone know any good mortgages that accept 10% deposit on a new build property.

I am looking at a property worth £295995 and i have a £33000 deposit so about 12% (Bear with my maths). I have been told to try and get a 5% deposit contribution from the new build to make up a 15% deposit. But i want to see of a 10% incase i cant get a 5% deposit contribution from them if this makes sense.

What are my options? Anyone know any banks etc that do 10%?

I’d love to see the replies to this. We are currently looking at 10% deposit market as saved up enough to go alone without HTB mortgage.

Our mortgage is lower at £115000 but got quoted £480 5yr fix on a 30yr term. Still looking about though for a good deal.

Hey, yeah i know Skipton do but the rate was then 2.9% for 3 years. Wondering if there is any others. I hear also that the building companies also like to offer a 5% deposit contribution to give you a 15% deposit in order to get better rates. Annoyingly though they want a DIP before doing a deal so do you go for 10% or 15% and hope for the best! Grr
