Am I Paying To Much?

HI GUYS/GIRLS

HOPE YOU ARE ALL WELL,WHAT AN EXCELLENT SITE.

WRITE THEN, CUT A LONG STORY SHORT......

I HAVE JUST TOOK OUT A LOAN OF £4000 WITH HSBC
THE LOAN IS FOR 36 MONTHLY PAYMENTS OF £142 (ish) at an APR of 17.9%
THE TOTAL INTEREST I WILL PAY IS £1,105

AM I BEING RIPPED OF BY MY BANK WHO I HAVE BEEN WITH FOR APPROX 9 YEARS? OR SHALL I GET A LOAN ELSEWHERE (where?) AND PAY THIS OF IMMINANTLY?

PLEASE ADVISE ME

(MY CREDIT HISTORY IS GOOD, AND I AM A HOMEOWNER IN A GOOD JOB)

PLEASE HELP ANY ADVISE APPRECIATTED AS IM NEW TO THIS GAME

    If you are a homeowner, why not consider a secured loan for 5k? If you have equity in your house, you SHOULD be able to get a secured loan on a rate of about 6.5% approx.
