I’m looking for a good, reasonable priced fitness tracker that can sync to an iPad. It’s for a youngster who doesn't have a phone so don’t want to spend loads.

    Take a look at Garmin. They have something to suit every budget.
    They also have child specific units.

    Check out FitBit - I'm sure their stuff will sync with an iPad :)

    You only a Garmin fitness activity tracker....
    As Garmin provide Garmin Connect App on App Store. You can easily connect it with Ipad.

    I've used Garmin for a long time!

    Actually It's Garmin Forerunner 735 XT with Waterproof function.
