Anyone works or know about Bank of England? Is it true that their employees have 50% of their salary contributed to pension by the employer?

No. They were, a few years ago, paying about 50% of their pay bill into theie final salary scheme but that was to fill funding shortfalls which is not the same as receiving 50% of your salary paid into a personal pension0

You had only had to google to get the answer - e.g. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2016/sep/12/bank-of-england-attacked-50-pension-contributions0

I already know the article, I am asking if it is still true, duh0 -
Funding a pension deficit (which funds people who have already retired, when they live longer than originally expected) is NOT the same as contributing 50% of salary into a pension for current employees.0
