Hi

I am just doing a re-mortgaging of house. Its a simple moving from Britannia to Nationwide

I got a quote of £483 to do the legals from Nationwide - is this competitive?

I have never remortgaged before

    Get a couple of other quotes. Fees do differ.

    Nationwide is now offering £500 cashback on its remortgage products in preference to 'free legals' from a conveyancing warehouse in Bradford; so find a solicitor of your own and have some money left over as there are loads cheaper than what you have been told.
