    Hi Editor,

Thanks for your help, I got the years mixed it was 1988 when we were sold the FP endowment. I believe we got the 'Red letter' in 2002. Am I right in thinking we are out of time. We don't have illness excuses only family problems that have taken a couple of years to resolve.

Ahh the special call centre in abbey house made up of the people they made redundant from the banking centre the week before and sent them all home due to jobs moving to India.

Then called them back in to start on this with no previous experience just before the story came out in the paper.

Highly motivate staff, i think not.

    Ben

please tell me this is not true ben

do you know this for fact?

  • To comeback to the original point if FP are time barring you you should still file your case with the Ombudsman and ask for it to be reviewed. If FP object, post anything marked for my attention and I will pick it up and try to help

Hi we were sold fp endowment by AN in 1988 received our compensation after an appeal to onbudsman end of 2004 after abbey and Fp both denied responsibility.our first red letter came 2001 may have even been before !, however the settlement was for the difference to a repayment which is standard for the ombudsman.

    Oh yes David

I left (handed my notice due to a better job) Cater Allen Private Bank part of abbey about 7 weeks ago and they all got shipped out the friday afternoon as well.

I got an e-mail off an old colleague the week after to see how I was getting on and they spilt the beans about them being given jobs there.

It also should be mentioned that the people they got rid of were the hopeless ones that should have been sacked years ago as some of them were on performance improvements plans etc.
