Disgraceful First Bus! Late bus caused docked wages!

  • Train companies will sometimes refund ticket prices if its over x amount of time late but I've never heard of a bus company doing so as they run at the mercy of the road conditions.

I remember Central Trains used to send out £1 'goodwill' cheques when I used to commute with them, which showed how much they valued their customers time!

Thanks all, it was just a temp Christmas job at a well known high street store and she is no longer working there, I thought it was a bit mean of them to dock her wages!
If you turn it around and look at it as they paid her for the hours she worked (rather than talking about docking wages) as I presume she's on an hourly wage rather than an annual one, it sounds very fair.

A friend once got a refund from another bus company in a similar situation, but was never successful in getting the same with First Bus.
