Wedding Thread for African Caribbean Bride or Wedding ideas advice and inspiration

Hi Brides, I bumped into MSE via google and thought i'd find any great ideas or advice on African Caribbean Wedding vendors in Birmingham area and noticed that there's in fact no African Caribbean Wedding thread here. The one I found was just for Bridal Makeup. I also found a wedding site called My Afro Caribbean Wedding - @myafrocaribbeanwedding on Instagram focused more on African and caribbean weddings, but they are pretty new so not alot happening on their site yet and not even any single advice on wedding vendors in Birmingham area. More in London area. Though I like to check their wedding inspiration page for ideas and pictures. Bridebook and hitched.co.uk are there but not really focused on African caribbean, can't find anything related.

I'm getting married soon and would just love to get ideas or recommendations for afro caribbean wedding vendors like which wedding planner did you use, is it a good idea to use them, when are you getting married or even those who have got married and used some great vendors. Also looking for a wedding venue that will allow our own catering provided as we need african cariibean food for our wedding. I'm caribbean and getting married to an african.

Also need advice on a decent hair stylist in Birmingham area that would be available to do my hair on the day. I'm pretty much excited but stressed as you can tell from the way i've written this message. Getting married in September, i know it's still a while but wedding is pretty new for me and the first time i'm planning one. lol. Look forward to your inputs and advice.
