Beer mat and chamois heaven lol!

I went to a car boot sale at the weekend and bought 7 beer mats for a pound. I thought I would give them a go as im fed up of my microfibre cloths getting all stained, anyway I think they are even better than microfibre. They can really clean well and dont stain.
I went round doing all the shiney surfaces and windows etc. Just using a beer mat and a chamois to finish with and I have to say I am more impressed than I was with my expensive e-cloths.
Has anyone else used the beer mats in place of wash cloths? I used to be put off microfibre as it used to have to be washed separately and often stained but I highly recommend getting hold of a few beer mats and giving them a go!
The chamois is brilliant too. Its just a cheapie offcut bit (99p from Home bargains) but its the real stuff. I paid a fortune for a synthetic one and its useless!

I think you mean bar towels, don't you? Beer mats are the cardboard things they put on the tables in pubs.
Word of warning about bar towels - don't wash them with anything else, as the dye comes out something chronic  . At least it does with the ones I "acquired" from work many years ago.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Well they are brill. Thanks for helping me out on the name thingy.
I will remember to wash them separately then, up to now they've gone in on their own so I havent noticed.0
