The phone rang... and i wasn't scared!!

Just read Pinkladymels thread and it made me think of this, something i'd not realised before. Thanks mel!

The phone rang the other night (as it is prone to do, after all it is a phone!)... my OH said "It'll be for you, no doubt someone looking for money!" (yeah, he is so charming and supportive!!! Tw*t!)

I answered it and it was noone important, (random sales call type thing/or might've been my sister, anyway not important) but it made me realise........

I CAN NOW ANSWER THE PHONE WITHOUT FEELING SCARED ABOUT WHO IT MIGHT BE!:j

I'm not (yet) debt free but i feel i have had everything under control this last few months for the first time in my adult life.

I love love love the notion that noone is chasing me for money month to month. Everyone is getting paid, some are even getting overpaid! My list of creditors is down from double figures to about 4 and life is good!

Just wanted to share! Hope noone minds? It's all down to you guys on this site, the inspirational stories and fantastic advice. The hints about things like Cashback and Piggy clicks etc. It would've been easy for you guys to batten down the hatches and keep this info to yourselves but you share so willingly and it makes newbies (altho i guess i'm not one now!) feel so welcome.

Time for a group hug!!! :grouphug:

Isn't this the most wonderful thing in the world!

I used to keep the lights off until at least 9pm in the worst debt days in case a baliff called and I could pretend I'm out but now can actually put them on when it gets dark like normal people :rotfl:

    Well done :D
