Well, it does fall apart rather often! I haven't yet got to the stage where I have all the right stuff in, but it really is making life easier on the whole.
For example, this week it fell apart as my adult daughter is away from home, so decided to have the things she doesn't like/can't eat.

...was expecting parents and had a menu plan suitable for 5 people, some of whom (Parents) not desperately adventurous, or things I know that I cook that they like, that they don't cook. Also using things from the freezer as the core of the meal plan. But parents trip has been delayed as they come East to West via country lanes and the M62.

SO had a few fill in things. Daughter requested chips last night... as in from the chippy.

Were going to MIL's with my parents today, but they're not here, so she's hoping they weill be here soon and we will go there on Tuesday. So we are having gammon, cauliflower, mushy peas and boulangère potatoes. Bread and butter pud to use up a half a home made loaf languishing.

So the meal plan is only a starting point!

Well at least you have that starting point purpleivy!
Funny you mentined keema curry. I purchased loads of beef mince yesterday & was looking for recipes for it but most were lamb mince and the one I found that was beef mince had another agreement that I didnt have in. I've never made it before but I liked it when I had it at my sister's.

    following with interest...

many years ago I used to try some meal plans at http://www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com/blog/category/monthly-meal-plan but after a few months with my fussy eaters (1 veggie, 1 incredibly fussy meat eater and 2 incredibly fussy children) we have morphed into a family that will eat chicken, fish and as many vegetarian dishes as mummy can sneak onto the weekly menu! but with after school clubs and busy work schedules, I'm always keen to explore more organised options.
